WOMEN’S HEALTH · SHREVEPORT

The whole health picture, through every stage.

The women’s health program is the broad clinical home for prevention, changing symptoms, hormonal questions, metabolic health, bone and cardiovascular risk, sexual health, and healthy aging. It begins with a history and examination rather than a predetermined treatment.

This overview is distinct from the women’s health treatments page, which explains the types of interventions that may follow an evaluation. At every stage, care is coordinated with gynecology or other specialists when a concern falls outside the practice’s scope.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know whether my symptoms are hormonal?

No. The purpose of the evaluation is to consider hormonal and non-hormonal explanations together.

Does this replace routine gynecology?

Not necessarily. Wellness can coordinate with your gynecologist and recommend specialty care when appropriate.

What should I bring to a visit?

Bring a medication and supplement list, relevant prior testing, symptom timeline, and the goals or questions that matter most.
